Community Liaison Officer's Update
Stuart has had another busy month with local task force meetings and a new Dementia Maidstone initiative taking shape on top of his regular patrols.
There will be another Community Surgery on Thursday 3rd April, this time at Costa. It will run from 12.30pm until 2.30pm. Do come along to meet the team from Kent Police, MBC and housing associations.
Finally, you might have heard that Kent Police are inviting anyone with a security or doorbell camera to register it in order that it might be used when evidence is required (note they do not have access to the camera). You can read more about this initiative here: Register your security camera.
Need to reach Stuart? You can contact him by email: communityliaison@headcornpc.org.uk

Spires Ash Improvements
Last month the Lengthsmen team worked hard to enhance the Spires Ash open space with new hedgerow planting and the installation of new bollards. It is hoped that this will reduce the incidence of anti-social driving across the area.

Events Coming Up in May
Headcorn Parish Council will, as usual, be supporting the PTFA May Fair on Day’s Green on 5th May. We’ll have some activities on our stand to entertain you plus this will be a good opportunity to meet more of you. So please make a note to call by and say hello.
Soon after that we will be marking the VE Day 80th Celebrations on 8th May with a service and lighting of the Beacon from 9pm. We will publicise more details nearer the time.

Annual Meeting of the Parish
Headcorn Parish Council will be hosting the Annual Meeting of the Parish on Thursday 17th April from 7pm at Andred Hall.
